Using organic gardening fertilizer is the key to having a pure garden. There are different types of natural fertilizers that you can use; man-made or you can buy it from your local gardening store.

Since many organic fertilizers are slow-working, it is best to mix them in with your soil three weeks before you begin planting your organic garden. This will thoroughly prepare the soil for seeding or transplants.

Make sure to rid clumps of unrotted organic materials, so that they won’t interfere with the operation of seeding. It can result in nutrient deficiency and sometimes soil-borne diseases that can cause “damping-off” of young seedlings. Read the rest of this entry »
